Emirates Musician


sony uncharted

For client Strawberry Frog / Nomads, wrote as senior copywriter through the line on 12 international campaigns. Created the concept of Share a Smile, a 'compliment generator' to showcase the 120 languages spoken by Emirates crewmembers.

Also worked on numerous aspects of the airline's global rebranding, including writing/editing their Brand Guidelines and concepting two and five year brand strategies for the company.

Sony Computer Entertainment

For client Kong Amsterdam, wrote all descriptional and functional copy for the Facebook app / game The Uncharted Audition - The Next Nathan Drake. Also wrote dialogues for a number of the Uncharted game characters themselves.

VW 21st Century Beetle - Hitchhike with a Like
Helped craft and edit over 200 short character introductions and story outcomes for this Facebook app / game. For Tribal DDB Amsterdam.

Better Place
Wrote all copy for an in-taxi iPad app explaining the launch of this electric car company's first European Battery Switch Station. For Amsterdam agency, Fitzroy.

Medido Connected

Wrote the copy for a 6 page brochure, plus the script for a 3 minute video explaining a new medical product. Developed by Brandwalk agency, Amsterdam

Gucci Guilty

For client Tribal DDB Amsterdam did copywriting for online campaign for the launch of new fragrance Gucci Guilty.

Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply and The North Face
For client Factory Design Labs, Verbier, wrote copy helping to reposition Denim & Supply for the European market, in addition to campaigns for The North Face.

CineMart for the International Film Festival Rotterdam
For six years running, for the international co-production platform CineMart, Matthew Curlewis was the Editor of the CineMart project dossier; a book that contains synopses, director's statements and company information of around 40 projects each year.
