Dagmar Benke
from Berlin's Script House was widely acknowledged as a European
master in the art of script editing - the process of assisting
writers tell the best stories they are capable of writing.
Matthew was fortunate enough to earn his Binger Filmlab Script
Editing Certificate under Dagmar's tutelage, six months before
her untimely death from cancer.
Since that time he has worked with writers on both short and
feature scripts, and delights in the 'forensic' work involved
in helping authors find the paths of greatest authenticity
within their own stories.
Consulting options include:
• shorter script reports and assessments for funding
bodies and/or producers
• 8-10 page in-depth script reports + live/skype analysis
meetings
• in-depth script reports + live/skype meetings + ongoing
consultations during the writing of subsequent drafts
• tagline, logline, synopsis & treatment writing
(from scripts/ideas at various stages of development)
